Beard Transplant
A beard transplant is a surgical procedure in which hair follicles are transplanted from a donor area (usually the back or sides of the head) to the beard area to add density or fullness to the beard. The procedure is similar to a hair transplant, but the hair follicles are transplanted to the beard area rather than the scalp.
The beard transplant procedure is usually performed using the FUT (follicular unit transplantation) or FUE (follicular unit extraction) technique. In the FUT technique, a strip of skin containing hair follicles is removed from the donor area and dissected into individual follicular units. These units are then transplanted to the beard area. In the FUE technique, individual hair follicles are extracted from the donor area using a small punch tool and transplanted to the beard area.
Beard transplantation is a surgical procedure and should be performed by a qualified and experienced surgeon. If you are considering a beard transplant, it is important to do your research and choose a reputable and experienced surgeon to ensure the best possible outcome.
